Yes, this is the ‘Sound of Music’, family friendly Vermont mountain getaway. This exclusive space features a finely appointed 2 bedroom, 2 bath suite that will sleep 6 people comfortably. The Trapp resort is named as one of the 50 top ski resorts in the United States by Conde Nast magazine. Skiers will of course enjoy close proximity to a number of ski resorts – not to mention many other winter activities and attractions.

*Trapp Family Lodge & Guest House* is a 2,700 acre mecca for the outdoor and nature enthusiast in beautiful Stowe, Vermont! Home to the first cross-country ski center in the country, the vast 100 kilometers of trails have terrain suitable for every level of skier or snow shoer. Tennis, swimming in one of three pools, croquet, Fitness Center and massage therapy are just a few of the amenities at this resort. Activities include baking class, painting, music, dance and jewelry making classes for adults and children. The Maria documentary about Maria von Trapp’s final visit to her homeland of Austria is shown twice a day in St. George’s Hall. A current feature film is shown each evening in St. George’s Hall including a weekly Thursday night viewing of The Sound of Music.

-The master bedroom has a queen-size bed, the second bedroom has two single beds, and the living room has a queen-size sleeper sofa. They will easily accommodate six people.

-All Guest Houses have a wood stove. Firewood with fire starter is provided.

-There is a beautiful Fitness Center with indoor pool. There are designated adult and family swim times. The fitness center includes a well-equipped gym and a 24-person outdoor hot tub.

-The Guest Houses have fully equipped kitchens, which include a stove/oven, refrigerator, dishwasher and dish washing detergent, microwave, coffeemaker with filters, cooking and eating utensils for six, paper towels, toilet tissue, dish soap, and salt and pepper.

-The Guest Houses have towels and linens for six, with a midweek linen exchange.

-The square footage of guest houses is 1,100 square feet.

-There are two full baths, one of which is in the master bedroom.
